The Bike Shed offers everything from a simple tube replacement right through to full strip down services and bike builds.

Basic Service – $65.00

  • Recommended every 6 months (use dependent)
  • Includes the following:
  • Gears checked and tuned
  • Brakes checked and tuned
  • Chain, Cassette and Chain Rings assessed
  • All bolts checked for safety
  • Gears lubed
  • Tyres inflated
  • Wipe down frame and fork

 

General Service – $85.00

Our most popular service.

Recommended every 6-12 months (use dependent). For keen riders or intermittent riders who have not serviced their bike for a while.

Includes the following:

  • Gears checked and tuned
  • Brakes checked and tuned
  • Chain, Cassette and Chain Rings assessed
  • All bolts checked for safety
  • Gears lubed
  • Tyres inflated
  • Bike Cleaned
  • Wheels trued and tensioned
  • Bottom Bracket checked
  • Headset checked
  • All suspension pivots checked

 

Full Service – $125.00 (full suspension bikes $165)

Recommended every 1-2 years. Well used bikes should have this once per year.

Includes the following:

  • Gears checked and tuned
  • Brakes checked and tuned
  • Chain, Cassette and Chain Rings assessed
  • All bolts checked for safety
  • Gears lubed
  • Tyres inflated
  • Wheels trued and tensioned
  • Bike stripped down, all parts cleaned to highest standard
  • Bottom bracket cleaned out, re-greased and re-installed (where possible)
  • Headset cleaned out, re-greased and re-installed (where possible)
  • All suspension pivots checked (full suspension bikes only)
  • All parts assessed for wear

Tube Replacement – from $14.00

Tubeless Conversion – $35.00 per wheel

Wheel Build – $80.00

Please note that the labour rates listed above are a guideline only. Our actual labour rates reflect the work that we do. Therefore, if we think that your bike requires more or less time spent on it, we will let you know. And if the rate is going to be higher than expected, we always contact you first to discuss it with you and get your permission.
